The work
What you actually get.
Not every gutter needs replacing. We come out, walk the eave, and tell you what's actually wrong. Most service calls are a $150 fix — re-pitch a sag, replace a hanger, re-seal a miter, snake a downspout. We'd rather quote you the repair than sell you a new system you don't need. We also do the winter work most local contractors won't: ice-dam steam removal, heat-cable installation, and hail-damage documentation for your insurance adjuster.
Problems we solve
- Sag in the middle of a long run after a heavy snow load
- Inside corner that won't stop leaking
- Downspout that backed up and froze last January
- Hail dents — insurance claim worth filing or not?
- Ice dams forming every February — water in the basement by March
- Heat cable that quit working last winter
What’s included
Honest triage
If a $180 repair gets you another five years, we tell you. If it's past saving, we tell you that too.
Re-pitch and re-hang
Stripped fascia screws and sagging runs re-pitched to the correct 1/4" per 10 ft.
Joint and miter resealing
Old caulk stripped, butyl tape, fresh sealant. Watertight for 8-10 years.
Downspout snaking & extension
We carry a 25" snake. Frozen or clogged drops cleared on the same visit when possible.
Heat cable installation
Self-regulating cable installed in zigzag pattern on chronic ice-dam roofs and downspouts. UL-listed, GFCI-protected. $11–$18/ft installed.
Ice dam steam removal
Low-pressure 280° steam — the only safe method. Won't strip granules off your shingles like high-pressure water or rock salt will. Same-week service in January–March.
Hail damage documentation
Photo packet your insurance adjuster will accept. We've done dozens of these. We'll meet your adjuster on-site if you ask.
How it goes

Frequently asked
Yes. We provide an itemized damage packet with photos, measurements, and current replacement-cost pricing. Adjusters know our work. We'll meet them on-site if you ask.
It manages the symptom — keeps water moving off the eave. It doesn't fix the cause (warm attic). We're honest about that. Most homes do both: heat cable now, insulation/ventilation work in summer.
